Natalie grew up on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland and has always had a love of the natural environment – sunshine, swimming, bush walks and an emersion in nature makes her most happy! Nat’s interest in natural healing and alternative medicine seems a natural extension of this connection with nature.
After finishing her first degree in communications and working for a music street press, she decided to take a 6 month holiday in Europe…and returned five years later! During this time of travel and adventure, she based herself in the UK, where she began her studies in Naturopathy. Upon returning to Australia, she settled in Melbourne to continue her studies at the Australian College of Natural Medicine (now the Endeavour College of Natural Health).
One of the underpinning philosophies of naturopathy is that all aspects of health are connected, and the health of the physical body is connected to mental, emotional and spiritual health. She believes that nurturing all aspects of self is important for a happy, healthy and balanced life. That is why she tries to make time for the things that bring her joy – spending time in nature, dancing, good food, travel, laughter, reading, time with loved ones, music, drawing, yoga and gardening all get a spot in her schedule!
